The Senior Oracle Financials Developer position requires strong technical skills and would be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and modifying systems including coding, testing, debugging, installing, migrating and providing technical support for application systems. The candidate must be able to take a business problem come up with a technical solution and be able to implement it following a typical SDLC. The candidate’s primary job responsibility will be in supporting and enhancing Prudential’s Oracle Financials installation including developing add-on functionality, customizing, and tuning.

  • Experience with at least one Oracle Financials module (GL, AR, FA, AP) is required
  • Experience with Oracle Database programming and design is required
  • A four-year Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related degree is a plus.
  • Candidates must be able to design solutions by themselves as well as in a group and be able to communicate their solutions and ideas effectively both orally and written.
  • Experience with JAVA is a plus
  • Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence and/or BI Publisher is a plus
  • Experience with UNIX is a plus
  • Experience in project management, staff management, and project oversight is a plus but not required
