As the OEM organization scales to meet the growing business needs of the OEM Embedded Devices (OED) group, there is an increased need to drive operational clarity and precision to support new business models and capabilities including: optimizing OED Operational Contract and Revenue Recognition, operationalizing Supply Chain, and defining Customer Engagement Model programs. This role will play an integral part on the Operations Leadership team in redefining the end-to-end OEM business to support embedded devices within OEM Operations. Moreover, this WW leadership position for OED Operations will be accountable for the implementation of certain OED Operations programs and will work closely with the Regional Operating Centers (ROCs) on all processes from BG through customer. This includes regular engagement with OED stakeholders across Microsoft to develop strategic models to support the OED business as well as engagement with the ROCs (MSLI and MIOL) to develop the change model for Agreement to Invoice, Supply Chain, and Customer Engagement Model. In addition, this position will also be responsible for implementing various fulfillment processes and procedures globally by collaborating with counterparts in various countries spanning multiple business units and functional groups.
These decisions are highly important and impact the success of Microsoft’s Embedded Devices Ops strategy and processes necessary to implement operations excellence across multiple teams including Supply Chain, Agreement to Invoice, and Customer Engagement Model Programs. The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 8 years of related experience in e-Commerce, Operations, or Supply Chain environment developing and executing digital and/or embedded devices strategies
- Minimum 10 years professional experience with a proven track record of driving business strategies across multiple business units and functional groups
- In-depth knowledge of Embedded Devices and related emerging technology
- Bachelors Degree required
Other Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- Six Sigma a plus
- A leader in the embedded manufacturing industry with extensive knowledge of OEM processes and Operations processes
- A change agent with a proven track record of leading complex change across a broad ecosystem.
- Effective leader who gets things done through people; not at the expense of people.
- Demonstrated experience implementing strategies and programs related to Supply Chain, Agreement to Invoice, and Customer Engagement Models.
