The Role:
TicketWeb, a product of Ticketmaster, is the world’s leading self-service online ticketing and marketing company. Our proprietary system allows venues and event promoters of any size to manage the full range of box office operations on the Web.
We are seeking a seasoned, aggressive and analytical manager to oversee expansion of all sales and marketing activities, with particular focus on music club and promoter clients. Reporting to the TicketWeb General Manager, the successful candidate will have established relationships and contacts in the live entertainment industry, enabling him or her to quickly build a strong sales pipeline that contributes to TicketWeb’s revenue goals in the US.
Responsibilities:
* Identify, structure, negotiate and close revenue-generating relationships with leading prospects.
* Manage relationships with clients and prospects at a senior level ensuring their satisfaction with our system and service.
* Serve as a client advocate to influence creation of new products and services catered to music club owners and promoters.
* Drive sales and marketing strategy to support goals; coach/develop Marketing Manger and Sales Manager.
* Work cross-functionally, across regions within Ticketmaster to ensure that revenue targets and account/genre-based objectives are achieved.
* Create and deliver presentations to Ticketmaster Leadership and Field teams.
* Participate in budgeting process by forecasting annual revenue streams for specified accounts.
* Position can be in located in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York City.
Job Requirements:
* High level of entertainment or music industry experience with a venue, promotion, recording, or ticketing company.
* Proven and creative deal-making skills, including solid history of revenue building successes with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
* A track record of excellent partner communication and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
* Experience managing sales and marketing teams in a fast paced enviornment.
* Software/ASP/Internet sales experience preferred.
* Financial, budgeting and analytical skills preferred.
* BA/BS or equivalent preferred.
* Position will require 30% percent domestic travel.
