Regional Fiduciary Practice Leader
Job Description:
The Midwest Regional Fiduciary Practice Leader is responsible for managing the Fiduciary Services platform for clients in the Private Wealth Group at J.P.Morgan.
Specifically, The Midwest Regional Fiduciary Practice Leader is responsible for supporting Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri and Wisconsin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Market Managers in these markets, as well as the Regional Director for the Midwest Region.
The Regional Fiduciary Practice Leader is the face and voice of J.P.Morgan Fiduciary Services within the firm as well as to the outside public.
The responsibilities of this role are as follows:
- Talent Management
- Client Relationship Management
- Sales Management
Each of these is done in close coordination with the Market Managers for each market.
Talent Management
The Regional Fiduciary Practice Leader is responsible for the development and management of Fiduciary Officers. This includes monitoring and assessing performance on a regular basis, coaching and mentoring, and continually looking for and recruiting new talent to keep the fiduciary staff at the highest caliber possible.
Client Relationship Management
The most successful organizations provide unparalleled service and capabilities to their existing clients. The Regional Fiduciary Practice Leader works with the Fiduciary Officers and Market Managers to ensure that Fiduciary Officers are deepening existing client relationships as much as possible, and providing the best client experience possible. Also, the person filling this role needs to be a subject matter expert to guide Fiduciary Officers on questions concerning client relationships and fiduciary matters as they arise.
Sales Management
Growing the fiduciary business is a primary emphasis within the firm, and the Regional Fiduciary Practice Leader works closely with Fiduciary Officers and others in the markets to make this happen. This includes working on regular and ongoing sales management initiatives, and making sure Fiduciary Officers are pursuing all sales and growth opportunities.
Specific activities within sales management include:
- Monitoring the Fiduciary Officers’ pipelines.
- Working with Fiduciary Officers and holding them accountable for continual efforts and results toward increasing fiduciary revenue and flows.
- Joining Fiduciary Officers on prospect and client meetings as needed.
- Reviewing the Market’s book of business to understand where fiduciary opportunities may exist.
- Working with the non-Fiduciary personnel in the markets to help them identify and develop fiduciary opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree required, J.D. preferred
- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience
- Experience creating development plans for low, mid and high performing employees
- Ability to guide, direct and monitor employees in client specific matters
- Have a vast knowledge of fiduciary products and services including Wills, Estate Planning, GRATS, etc.
- Communication with Senior Management, including C level executives (CEO, CFO, CTO, etc.)
- Risk Management experience
- Solid Client Relationship Management experience with in a High Net Worth space
