This Project Manager will be the primary interface between Search Advertising Products Team and Yahoo! Japan. You will work with product managers, engineers, and Yahoo! Japan staff to deliver market-winning search advertising products.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the focal point for coordination and communication between Search Advertising Products Team and Yahoo! Japan.
• Working with Search Advertising product managers, engineers and Yahoo! Japan, assist in the development and management of comprehensive project schedules including key deliverables, milestones, dependencies and resource allocation plans.
• Understand dependencies for delivering products and facilitate discussions to assess critical paths.
• Manage open issues and work cross-functionally to determine remedies as necessary.
• Communicate, cooperate, and collaborate.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Experience running and documenting effective meetings.
• Ability to influence people and drive results in a matrix organization while building long term positive and collaborative relationships.
• Demonstrated fluency and strength in written and spoken Japanese and English.
• Demonstrated ability defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in MS Office products: Word, Excel, MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in managing projects in the Japanese market.
• BA/BS in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• Candidates with direct project management experience in search technologies or Internet software will be strongly preferred.
