Manager, Operations Technology

Job Description:

This position will have responsibility for supporting and developing MT East’s and its sub-agents technical infrastructure consistent with regional business goals and worldwide standards. The incumbent will be responsible for:

  • Providing technological support to MT East’s sub-agents with the network of 10 000 points of sales.
  • Coordinating Technical Support Service group, implementing processes and procedures to improve Technical Support Service operating efficiency.
  • Identifying sub-agents’ technological needs to optimise service delivery and ensure business growth.
  • Managing projects of network and point of sale infrastructure development.
  • Support regional operations initiatives to achieve established revenue and network development objectives.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years business experience (banking prefferable).
  • 3-5 year working knowledge of telecom and IT industry
  • 3-5 years of people management experience
  • 3-5 years of account management experience
  • Work experience in an international environment, preferably multinational company
  • University degree – preferably from a technical faculty (IT, telecommunications or related)
  • Fluency in English and Russian
  • Business and financial acumen
  • Microsoft Office standard software, Lotus Notes, understanding of databases and interface-techniques. Understanding of client-server solutions, PC Hardware and telecommunication
  • High-energy person not afraid of hardship or difficulties.
  • Fluency in other European languages
  • Knowledge of international money transfer industry
  • Cultural sensitivity and understanding of different ethnic groups, cultures and consumer backgrounds across several countries
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within diverse cultural environment and different levels and functional departments within sub-agent organization
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Strong presentation & training skills
  • Adaptability
  • Stress ToleranceAbility to travel (5-10%)
