The Tax Manager will be responsible for federal, state and international tax projects, research, tax-planning and federal audit support. Key responsibilities include managing special projects and collaborating with other finance departments to derive best business and tax solutions.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages federal and international income tax projects.
- Researches complex tax issues and develops authoritative tax positions, and formulates recommendations impacting the business.
- Develops, reviews, and manages internal control procedures related to federal and international tax processes.
- Participates in strategic tax planning initiatives to optimize tax savings to the company.
- Partners with Accounting, Legal, Corporate Development, Fixed Assets, and other departments to support business wide initiatives and performs technical tax review of transactions to optimize tax savings to the company.
- Builds collaboration with internal customers, including Finance, Legal and international colleagues on joint projects and issues.
- Provides support for federal audits and legislative initiatives.

- Proficiency in tax research tools and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Ability to prioritize and manage challenging multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience
- 5 - 8 years federal and multi-state tax experience, with emphasis in corporate and partnership income tax.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Proven people development and coaching skills.
Education/Training
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting; Master’s Degree in Tax preferred; CPA certification preferred.
