Director of PMO

Advaiya works closely with various teams throughout Microsoft as well as some of the newest technologies; to help develop demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, games, sample code, whitepapers, architecture guidance, and much, much, more.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop PMO work processes and implement project management training & tool administration.
- Provide project oversight to all project managers and ensure projects are managed in a standardized and successful manner.
- Direct the staffing, training, development, goal setting, and performance evaluations of the project management team
- Manage the flow of projects into each practice and drive resource management accountability.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of ten years of PM experience including a successful track record of leading a PMO within an IT environment.
- Prior project management experience in a consulting environment is essential
- A thorough understanding of PMO methodology, design, development, implementation work processes, deliverables, & tools.
- Strong working knowledge around Microsoft Project, Project Server and SharePoint.
- A PMP Certification and previous experience in setting up a PMO office is strongly preferred.
- Ability to interact with all levels of personnel from technical to high level executive.
- Experience working with global teams.
- Experience with the following project methodologies: Agile, RAD, RUP, Waterfall, Feature Driven Development, SDLC, Lean, 6 Sigma
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field is required
Compensation & Benefits
This is a full time position with Advaiya that offers a competitive compensation package and an aggressive bonus structure paid quarterly, and a great benefits package.
