Job Description:
Experience: Proven experience in dealing with system development where technology integration and technology development are key components Experience working with Customers to define technology needs. Experience with DARPA, AFRL, RDECOM or other technology development groups within the Government Customer community strongly desired. Experience managing technology development, preferably IR&D individual project or groups of projects or CR&D project. Must be able to describe how risks were managed and how off-ramps can be planned in or branches for unexpected results. Characteristics: Ability to project technology needs into the future, leverage technology as a discriminator and align it with the vision / strategies of the organization. An understanding of the role of technology in business development and program capture. Ability to translate complex technology concepts / approaches into value-add for the customer. Ability to lead teams composed of highly motivated technologists for a common goal. A general interest in technology and technology related areas. The following are the Basic Qualifications for this position: 20 years experience in technology development, program management and capture with at least 5 years experience as a key participant for a systems development project where technology integration and development are key components. A BS in EE, Comp Eng or other technology related degree is a must. A current security clearance is required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. U.S. citizenship is required.
